The protest together the Benjamin Franklin Parkway briefly turned into a wedding ceremony get together Saturday afternoon, as Kerry Anne and Michael Gordon joined the march on their wedding ceremony working day.
The newlyweds exited the Logan Hotel in their wedding attire, to a roar of applause and cheers from the group marching from the Philadelphia Museum of Art to City Corridor.
The crowd parted for the couple, who held arms and kissed in the center of the avenue.
It was a big marriage ceremony social gathering for the Gordons. They celebrated from the backdrop of hundreds of protesters who marched on the eighth day of protests in Philadelphia.
