The Devil: My adventurous, fiery Sag. It’s time to slow down, untangle this knotted mess, and reclaim your power in May. If you’ve found yourself losing track of time and falling into a bit of a slump, Spirit is asking that you start to reawaken to your truth. Without acknowledging our shadow side, it will continue to rule our lives quietly and insidiously. Take this month to bring conscious awareness to the parts of yourself that need to heal, so you can be free from your habitual or addictive patterns once and for all.
For some of my Sagittarians, you may be embarking on a trip, picking up a new hobby, or exploring a passionate relationship in May. Make sure to cross your t’s and dot your i’s before Mercury retrograde hits later this month. You’ll have to set clear boundaries with the people you’re connecting with over the next few weeks. Continue to remind yourself: It’s not about what’s easiest, it’s about what’s healthiest. Speak up for yourself if something doesn’t feel right, and if the other party isn’t willing to comply, you’ll have to make the empowered decision to remove yourself from the situation. Whether it’s in matters of love, work, or family—put your well-being first in May!
Queen of Swords: My centaurs, the month of April is going to ask you to show up boldly with discernment and your “no” muscle on full flex. There are too many people, with too many requests, and April will be your chance to finally understand that saying no is your superpower. When you allow yourself to be run dry by work, family, and your social circle—what energy do you have left for yourself? The answer to that is “much less than you deserve.” It’s time for you to take a few days off, and whether or not you leave the house is really less important than simply having time away from needing to talk, help, and support others.
When was the last time you truly allowed yourself to do things for joy and not productivity or validation? Some of you need a break from your phones; even if you don’t have social media, you’re allowing yourself to be sucked into hours of screen time. There also seems to be some deep wounds you’ve been ignoring that are now causing health issues. Whether these are infrequent headaches,or chronic feelings of stress and inflammation, your body, mind, and spirit all need a rest. Take time away before your guides force you to slow down. Your spiritual team is ready to give “my way or the highway” a whole new meaning. It’s best to heed this warning and take some me time. Don’t be afraid to overindulge for once!
Temperance: If the world were to end tomorrow, what would you have wanted more of? What would you be disappointed to have spent so much of your time doing? Allow the answers to these questions to guide the month of March for you, dear Sagittarius. It seems as though the scales of time have been imbalanced since 2021 started—for some of you these scales have been imbalanced for years. You’ve been giving too much time to work, your phone, your problems, and your pains. Although you know how to put on a brave face, your heart is tender and it’s time to stop hiding your truth with sarcasm and a passive-aggressive commentary. The Universe has her arms wide open to embrace you at your most vulnerable state.
What you’ve been dreaming of is starting to come together and present itself. For some of you this is financial freedom; for others this is a true sense of self-love. You can’t keep fixating on your past; if there’s someone you need to apologize to in order to move forward and forgive yourself, know that you will be met with acceptance. If you’re hoping for a career change, start to embrace how worthy you are of working less and making more. The perfect opportunity is right around the corner. Reminder: You are not put here to be another cog in the machine, Sag. It’s time to dismantle our capitalistic society, and you’re pioneering a way forward for generations to come. Next time you feel inclined to swipe your credit card for some retail therapy, let out a cleansing cry instead and save your money.
The Hermit: Without proper time spent reflecting on the choices that you’ve made, pain that you’ve felt, and moments that have shaped you into the person you are today, it may feel easy to continue being out of touch with yourself. Your story is one filled with lessons, memories, and feelings that are individual to you. But if you don’t understand them, how could anyone else?
Take time this month to get acquainted with what you love and admire about yourself. Others see you as a unique and irreplaceable presence in their lives, but it’s far more important for you to see your own worth. You may seek counsel or support as you begin to peel back your layers. It’s okay to ask for help as you walk further into your healing process. Use your pain; do not let your pain use you.
Knight of Swords: We all know you have a sharp tongue, Sagittarius, and now is the time to put it to good use. You need to work on communicating yourself in an effective and well-received manner; for a lot of Sags, I’m seeing an opportunity to write or create artwork to convey a powerful message.
What’s a cause that you care about? How can you get involved in the movement this year? Your energy is going to be best utilized for the greater collective—so take your eyes off of comfort, routine, and self-serving to give back. You won’t regret it.
